New York, New York. March 29, 2016 –
Greetings from Tromaville!
Troma has signed world-renowned Belgian Death Metal destroyers Serial Butcher (no relation to Kansas Bowling’s Troma movie B.C. Butcher) to provide music from their latest album, Brute Force Lobotomy. The tracks will be in the soundtrack for Troma’s upcoming Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Volume 2,  it was announced today by Lloyd Kaufman, prexy of Troma Entertainment and creator of The Toxic Avenger.

Serial Butcher, a band that formed in 1995, continues to create powerful testaments to homicidal rage and unrepentant hostility. The band collectively describes the inspiration for Blunt Force Lobotomy as a feeling of,  “sometimes, you just want to stab Uncle Lloydie in the eye with a blunt, rusty knife. Until (s)he’s dead. And then you stab some more… just to be sure…;” A fitting theme for Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High AKA Volume 2 which, keeping in the Troma tradition, is sure to relentlessly assault the audience with scenes of graphic, yet Magritte scenes of horror, eroticism and hilarity.
Track selections from Brute Force Lobotomy, “Serial Butcher”‘s latest album are included on the Return to Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 2 soundtrack.
Troma Entertainment is a legendary 42 year old independent movie studio. They are responsible for the world-renowned cult classic films such as, The Toxic Avenger, Class of Nuke ‘Em High, Poultrygeist: Night of the Chicken Dead, Return to Nuke ‘Em High Volume 1, as well as many other legendary films that have cultivated their reputation as longstanding leaders of independent cinema.
Troma and Belgium have a longtime relationship. Troma released the very first Belgian Horror Film, Rabid Grannies in 1987. Lloyd Kaufman was awarded The Lifetime Achievement Award and was made Knight of the Order of the Raven, at the Belgian International Fantasy Film Festival.
